SUMMER CAMP BOOKS ILLUSTRATION WORKSHOP / FLIP BOOKS WORKSHOP

For two weeks in July, the children attending the summer camp have worked on the creation of two types of books. Illustrated stories and “flip books”.

In the first week, under the theme “illustration”, the children have written their own stories in English, they have learned to make a “storyboard” and to design each page of their book including text, dialogues and images, as well as the cover or cover and back cover. The result has been incredible.

During the second week, in which the theme of the workshop was music, they learned to create “flip books”, books in which they worked frame by frame to create a moving image: a dancing character, an eye that moves, a character playing the drum…
