Year 2 Primary have started the IPC Unit ‘Brainwaves’ in an exciting way. Their classroom has been transformed into ‘Professor Spark’s Learning Lab’ and they are all the professor’s learning assistants on a journey of discovery to find out how we learn.
The students entered the lab in darkness to find ‘The Brain Box’ lit with lights that represent the neuron connections in our brain. Inside the box there were surprise objects to feel and describe, while the rest of the class tried to guess what they could be. Could one of them be a real brain?!?
