ALUMNOS DE 1º DE BACHILLERATO ASISTEN A LA COMPETICIÓN DEL “DEBATE PREUNIVERSITARIO DE LA UNIVERSIDAD DE NEBRIJA”

On March 10th, our students attended the Nebrija University Pre-University Debate competition.

Nuria A., Marcos G., Martín S. and Pablo José C., from 1st year of Baccalaureate, were the students who represented our school.

The question formulated for the debate was the following: Should measures to combat the environmental crisis be mandatory?

Although our team did not manage to reach the end of the debate, the jury gave a very positive assessment of our students’ argumentation and presentation of ideas. He highlighted his oratorical capacity and the solvency of the data presented.

After participating in this debate, the students wrote a short text together in which they summarized this enriching experience:

“We believe that it has been a very enriching experience, in which we have seen other ways of working and have gained confidence in ourselves. At first, we were very nervous, but we believe that as the debate progressed we relaxed and thus we could give the best of us. Anyway, we weren’t the best but we were there and we participated, which at the end of the day is what matters.

Thank you very much for the opportunity”

We want to show our pride to each of our students for the magnificent work done in this debate.
