With summer just around the corner, Fontenebro International School opens its doors from June 23 to July 31, 2025, for a new edition of the successful Summer Camp Fontenebro – BlueMountain, an initiative organized by GlobalCamp and BlueMountain, with over two decades of experience in education, leisure and outdoor activities.
This day camp is designed for children from age 3 (Early Years) to Year 6 of Primary Education, and is open to both students from the school and external participants. Its educational and recreational approach turns each week into a transformative experience, where play and nature become tools for comprehensive learning.
Age-appropriate activities
The camp offers a structured weekly programme adapted to each age group, including:
- Water sports: paddle surfing, kayak polo, canoeing, and kayaking
- Adventure activities: zip-lining, climbing, abseiling, monkey bridges, slackline, Tibetan bridges
- Excursions: orienteering, hiking, and geocaching
- Swimming pool games and daily water activities
- Team sports: football, kinball, hockey, basketball, floorball, among others
- Themed workshops and fun, interactive English sessions
These activities are organized according to educational stages, with specific proposals for Early Years since 3 years old, Year 1 to Year 3, and Year 4 to Year 6, always respecting the abilities and needs of each group.
An educational approach based on values
The camp’s philosophy is rooted in a modern educational approach where the instructor acts as a guide and facilitator, promoting the development of emotional, social and cognitive skills. Through contact with nature and teamwork, values such as responsibility, respect, solidarity and sustainability are fostered.
In addition, emotional education, self-esteem and empathy are prioritized, providing a learning environment where children can grow in independence, strengthen friendships and enjoy a healthy and safe summer.
Safety, professionalism and commitment
The camp’s staff includes highly qualified instructors and coordinators, maintaining a ratio of 1 instructor for every 10 participants. Civil liability and accident insurance are included in the price.
The organization is a member of the National Association of Activity and Camp Companies, ensuring compliance with quality and safety protocols.
Timetable and prices
Camp hours run from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm, with the option to register weekly, biweekly, for the full month of July, or for the full five-week period. Prices include meals, activities, insurance and taxes:
- 5 weeks: from €700 (external) / €725 (Fontenebro students)
- Full month of July: from €590 / €615
- Two weeks: from €340 / €365
- One week: from €190 / €200
- July 28 to 31: from €160 / €175
Participants should bring a mid-morning snack and a water bottle.
