MATHS AND SCIENCE IN THE STREET OF MORAL 🧪➗ SEPTEMBER 23rd‼️
On September 23rd at 10:30 a.m., all the families of the municipality will have the opportunity to participate in the different mathematics and science workshops that will be organized around the Plaza del Hogar del Jubilado.
These workshops will be developed with the aim of achieving the maximum dissemination of mathematics. The activities will be based on 15 manipulative and experimental math workshops. This activity tries to bring mathematics closer to children, young people, parents and grandparents, in a more playful and personal way, outside the usual classroom environment.
Mathematics workshops in the street have been held at the initiative of different schools in the last year in several cities, organized in collaboration with the corresponding municipalities and institutions. Moralzarzal took the initiative in the Sierra Noroeste a few years ago and next Saturday, September 23rd, all families will be able to participate again for free in our municipality.
The activity will be prepared by students and teachers from Fontenebro International School, Moralzarzal. Students and teachers from the school will explain in a simple way the associated theoretical part, and how to work the models to all the attendees, adults and children, who want to participate in each workshop.
Each visitor will be able to take home those materials that they have made by themselves, in addition to the knowledge and experience accumulated in the development of the activity.
Participation in the workshops is suitable for all ages, voluntary and free, and it is possible to join at any time during the activity.
